I’ve been exploring different self publishing book companies and noticed how many options promise fast results and full control. But it makes me wonder how do new authors actually decide which route is best for them? Is it smarter to trust well-known platforms, or can smaller companies offer better creative freedom? And how do you even judge transparency in pricing or royalties? Would love to hear how others made their choice and what influenced it most.
